Our exquisite hand-painted Kalamkari dupatta, with a traditional rudrakha border, is meticulously handwoven with a tussar silk warp and mercerized cotton weft. This piece is original to us and was motivated by the museum's historical collection of 18th-century chinoiserie fabrics. The colours are derived from marigold flower petals, rich ospicious yellow, and all other complementary natural colours. The traditional Kalamkari technique is used to process the colours, but there is a subtle touch of artistic skill added by the detailed hand-painted designs and the elegant texture of self-check patterns. With this stunning Kalamkari Hand-Painted Dupatta, you can embrace the allure of traditional craftsmanship and elevate your ensemble.Made at Creative Bee Dye Farm.
